Self-Representation / Pro Se Legal Clinics

In "pro se" legal cases, clients represents themselves instead of having a lawyer. We offer pro se clinics that provide free legal advice to clients who want to represent themselves in civil legal matters in Bergen, Hudson or Passaic Counties. Our clinics are staffed by both staff and volunteer attorneys and legal professionals.

We currently offer the following legal clinics (in English and Spanish):​

• Renew/Replace Green Card (I-90 Application)

• Safe Housing Conditions

• Security Deposit Returns

• Uncontested Divorce

Please note: Our clinics do not include legal representation or offer legal advice should any problems arise. We also cannot file documents on a client's behalf.

Space at our clinics is limited and participants must qualify for services. Clinics are conducted virtually by Zoom as well as in-person.
